Tahitian dance

  • ORI TAHITI (Tahitian Dance)

    Level 1 – Beginners
    Teacher: Daniela
    6-week course: Wednesdays from 7pm to 8pm – 1 hour each week from 1st March to 5th April

    This course is perfect for absolute beginners with no prior Tahitian dance experience. In this course we will learn the basic steps of ‘Ori Tahiti (Tahitian Dance), we will practice the steps in short and simple combos and you will enjoy dancing to the beautiful and powerful songs of the Tahitian music. All the moves and steps are broken down to be easy to learn. This course will focus on the basic technique, the posture, practice combos and choreography.

    This course is perfect for absolute beginners with no prior belly dance experience. In this course we will learn the basic steps and movement of belly dance, we will practice the steps in short and simple combos and you will enjoy dancing to the powerful and suggestive Oriental music. All the moves and steps are broken down to be easy to learn. This course will focus on the basic belly dance technique and combos.

I’m Nikita and Dharma is one of my favourite words! A Sanskrit word loosely translating as ‘purpose’ or ‘duty’, deriving from ancient Hinduism. Kathak Presentation Days

DNC is proud to host Annual PRESENTATION DAYS, on Sat 25th & Sun 26th March 2023. This is a unique opportunity for kids, teens and adults who are thinking about joining dance classes to come along to see the studio, meet the teachers and watch existing students perform in front of their family and friends. After the performance there will be a certificate ceremony and opportunity to take photographs.
